What is Santa’s DISC Personality Type?

With Christmas coming up, we thought it would be fun to do a blog post focusing on Santa’s DISC personality type. We reached out to Santa at the North Pole and asked him to take a DISC personality test. Unfortunately, his elves wrote back on his behalf to let us know that Santa is too busy to take a DISC test at the moment. (Guess I should have mentioned that DISC tests take under 10 minutes! But then again, I suppose 10 minutes is a long time when you consider the sheer volume of toys that guy has to get together by Christmas morning.) But we’re not going to let that stop us. Based on evidence from what we know about Santa, we’re going to determine his DISC personality type on our own.

We think Santa is a CD. Why?

Like a C, he’s organized. (He makes a list and checks it twice.)

Like a C, he likes his alone time. (Sure, he’s jolly. But he lives at the North Pole, happy in isolation. He also sneaks around in the middle of the night, avoiding people. Santa can be social but needs 364 days to recover.)
Like a C, he’s an introvert. (Just think of all the time he spends watching everyone: “He sees you when you’re sleeping. He knows when you’re awake…” )
Like a C, he’s a rule-follower. (Santa enforces a very strict binary system of naughty/nice. If you’re nice…presents! If you’re naughty…coal.)
Like a C, he’s extremely organized. (How else could he get around the entire world in one night? Santa is clearly an excellent route planner.)

Like a D, he’s a skilled leader. (He’s the boss at the Santa’s Workshop, able to masterfully take charge of the elves.)
