What a DISC Profile Reveals

The DISC profile will give you helpful information about everyone to whom you administer it. Is the person a dominant person, an influential person, a steady person or a conscientious person? People with dominant traits have a tendency to be all business, independent and demanding, which sometimes causes them to seem unfriendly. People with Influential traits tend to be emotional people who can sway people to their points of view, but they tend to do so without paying attention to details. People with traits of steadiness tend to be thoughtful, persistent and patient, but they resist change fiercely. Those with conscientious traits tend to work well in structured and regulated environments, but they prefer to do so independently, which challenges them in tasks that require teamwork. Through a DISC profile, you can learn how to exploit the strengths of each type and how to help each person to overcome the weaknesses of each type.
